Our Relational Covenant
Behavioral Covenants—Holy Manners for a Faith Community: A behavioral covenant is a written document developed by leaders, agreed to and owned by its creators and practiced on a daily basis as a spiritual discipline. The Covenant answers the question, "How will we behave (how will we live together?) when we don't understand each other and when we don't agree?"~ Gil Rendle, Behavioral Covenants in Congregations
On April 8th and 9th Trinity hosted the EPIC Workshop which was taught by John Wenrich, Director of Congregational Vitality for the Covenant. The 90 attendees were introduced to the next step in the Vitality process. EPIC, which stands for Empowering People Inspiring Change, does not teach our church body what to change, but how to work through change in a way that is civil, compassionate, and Christ-honoring. John spoke about how spirituality, chemistry, and strategy impact our church and how to lead healthy, missional change.
