Welcome to our Kids' Ministry

At Trinity Covenant Church, we prioritize three important values for our children's ministry. We want every child to know:

God loves them!
Their church loves them! 
And that learning about God can be fun!

Seedlings - Birth to 2

Our hope for our youngest members is to love being at church. Our seedlings will be well cared for in the nursery with background checked and trained volunteers who love showing Christ’s love to the littlest ones. Seedlings will crawl and play with peers, listen to a Bible story from The Beginner’s Bible, and practice spending a little bit of time away from mom and dad. Our team will work with parents to create a positive experience so they will want to come back!

Sprouts - Pre-schoolers

Our sprouts will follow a simple schedule that is modeled after a preschool classroom. Sprouts will play for a period of time after drop off, move into a short game or activity, hear a short Bible lesson, and complete a coloring page. Our desire is for this age group to become familiar with Bible stories and hear over and over how much Jesus loves and cares for them.

Saplings - K - 6th

Our saplings range from Kindergarten to 6th grade. We want our children to understand how much they are loved by Jesus and the church, learn to love Jesus, know their Bible, and build community with their peers. Each week children will leave the service for the sermon portion to receive their own age appropriate Bible lesson and build their knowledge of who Jesus is.

Trinity Kids Schedule

9:00 AM

  • The 9:00 AM hour is prior to the start of our normal service.
  • Preschool (ages 2 and 5th Grade): Seedkings Room

10:00 AM

  • Seedlings (Ages 6mos -2 years): Room 204 
  • Sprouts (Preschoolers): Room 206
  • Saplings (Kindergarten-6th grade): Founder’s Chapel; Kids will meet their teachers in the back of the sanctuary after announcements and return to the service following the sermon.

Parental Resources

When you visit, you will be greeted at the door and then move directly to your right to check in your kids. We use KidCheck to sign kids into their classes. Once checked in, your child will receive an adhesive name tag and you will receive a parent receipt. Please hold on to this receipt so that we can identify you as the parent or guardian when you pick them up at the end of service. Once you have created a KidCheck family profile, subsequent check-ins will be quick and easy.

We value the security of your child at Trinity Kids. We have members of our church Security team circulating the hallways during every service. All Trinity Kids volunteers are trained and background checked to ensure a healthy, safe, and fun experience!

We have a room directly off the sanctuary for nursing mothers. You are free to use this room during the service with your child if you need to nurse or your little one needs room to wiggle, nap, or play. The service is live streamed on the tv in the room so you can be part of the worship service while in there.
