Parents of children younger than 6th graders: Be sure you have entered your children into our Kid Check kiosk in the lobby. This is an important part of our church's overall safety and security process for your little ones. If you are unsure how to proceed, simply ask any Usher or Greeter.
There is no Confirmation this Sunday, as Pastor Theo will be teaching the High School Sunday School class. Confirmation students are invited to join the class in place of going to Confirmation class.
Believer's baptism is important because it represents a conscious, personal decision to follow Jesus Christ. Unlike infant baptism, it is performed when a person is old enough to understand the gospel and choose faith for themselves. This act symbolizes dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ, as shown through immersion in water. It’s a public declaration of faith and obedience, showing that the believer is committed to living as a disciple of Jesus. For many, it marks a significant spiritual milestone and a deep expression of their relationship with God.
